The historic Willesborough windmill in Ashford celebrated its 150th Anniversary this year so to mark this special occasion Ashford Council ordered a scaled down 3D windmill to resemble their historic windmill. The 3 metre tall windmill was planted up in Alternanthera A – bronze and Helichrysum Korma – white. The 3D display came complete with white steel sails and railings. The windmill 3D display was delivered to Ashford in June and installed on the specially built mound in Ashford’s Memorial Gardens. The Willesborough windmill was fully restored in 1991 and continues to make flour to this day.
